About MIROIN

This website, miroin.studio, is operated by Miroin Studio Limited, a company based in Hong Kong, trading as MIROIN. These terms apply to use of our website and purchases made through it. Our Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy and Privacy Policy should be read alongside these terms. Operator contact details are provided in our Contact Information.

Products and descriptions

We present artist ceramics and collectible objects with photographs and descriptions intended to represent each work accurately. Many works are unique or available in very limited quantities. Please review dimensions, materials, artist information and any condition notes before purchase. Handmade variations do not excuse undisclosed defects or a material difference from the description. Screen settings and lighting may affect the appearance of colours. Unless the listing expressly includes them, styling props, tea tables and other objects shown in a scene photograph are not part of the purchase.

Use an object only for the purpose stated in its listing and follow its care instructions. Decorative works should not be treated as food-contact utensils unless described as suitable for that purpose. Purchasing a work transfers ownership of the physical object; it does not transfer the artist's or other rights holder's copyright or grant reproduction or commercial exploitation rights.

Ordering and availability

Please provide accurate contact, delivery and payment information. You must have legal capacity to enter the purchase, or the necessary consent of a parent or guardian. A shopping cart does not reserve a unique item. An order receipt acknowledges that we have received your order; acceptance occurs when we send a dispatch confirmation, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Payment may be collected before dispatch. If an item is unavailable, a payment cannot be verified, or an order cannot lawfully be fulfilled, we will notify you promptly and refund any amount collected for the unfulfilled order.

If we discover a material pricing or description error before acceptance, we will contact you with the correction and let you choose whether to proceed or cancel for a full refund. We will not increase the agreed price or substitute an item without your consent. Accepted orders remain subject to applicable law.

Prices and payment

The currency, product price and any charges we collect are shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed by the payment services offered at checkout; availability varies by destination and payment method. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own exchange rate or fees. Information about shipping and destination import charges is provided in our Shipping Policy and at checkout. Please do not email full card numbers, passwords or other sensitive payment credentials.

Delivery, cancellations and after-sales support

Orders are dispatched from Shanghai, China. Available destinations, dispatch times and the opening-period free shipping offer are set out in our Shipping Policy. Transit estimates are separate from dispatch times. If we cannot dispatch within the agreed time, we will notify you and offer the applicable choice of consenting to the delay or cancelling for a full refund; we will not treat silence as consent where express consent is required.

Returns, damage claims, quality issues and cancellation requests are handled under our Return and Refund Policy and applicable consumer law. Please contact support@miroin.studio for help. Our standard restriction on change-of-mind returns does not override mandatory withdrawal or other consumer rights.

Website use and intellectual property

You may use the website for lawful personal browsing and shopping. Do not interfere with its security, misuse another person's details, submit unlawful content, or reproduce or commercially exploit website text, photographs, logos or artwork without the relevant rights holder's permission, except as allowed by law. We do not require you to surrender ownership of material you send us for customer support.

Privacy and third-party services

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Shopify hosts the store, and payment and delivery services support purchases. Third-party sites and services may have separate terms. These arrangements do not remove our responsibilities as the seller of your order.

Responsibility and consumer protection

We take reasonable care in operating the website and fulfilling orders. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable obligations concerning product quality, safety, misdescription, refunds, fraud or negligence. We do not require you to waive mandatory consumer rights or indemnify us merely for shopping with us. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply.

Applicable law and disputes

Subject to mandatory laws and consumer rights applicable to your purchase, these terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. This does not deprive you of mandatory protections in your place of residence or any right to bring proceedings before a court or authority available under applicable law. Please contact us first so that we can try to resolve a concern; doing so is not a condition of exercising legal rights.

Changes and contact

Changes to these terms apply prospectively. The terms and policies shown when you place your order govern that order, subject to mandatory law or a later change expressly agreed with you.
